This 5-week workshop is an invitation to explore the symbolic landscape that lives within. It is a gentle, intentional descent into the stories, symbols, and archetypes that shape our inner meaning-making.
Drawing from Drama Therapy, Performance Art, and Active Imagination, we use the power of narrative to animate the parts of ourselves ready to be met. Throughout this process, each participant will choose a specific myth or fairy tale to serve as a personal compass, using its inspiration to bridge the gap between who we are and the vast, unmapped wisdom of the deeper Self.
The Modality: From Sensation to Symbol
This workshop is rooted in drama therapy practices and is adapted from the foundational work of Yehudit Silverman, which we have thoughtfully modified through our own creative approach to meet the somatic needs of this group. We move beyond the intellect through Movement & Sound, Creative Mask-Making and Response Art, Reflective Writing, and Ritualized Storytelling.
What to Expect
Each 2 hour gathering follows a curated rhythm:
The Threshold: A guided warm-up and check-in to arrive in the body.
The Encounter: Guided exercises to animate the symbolic language through movement, writing, and art-making.
The Witnessing: Holding space for shared presence and collective meaning-making.
Closing the Circle: A grounded integration to seal the session.
Who is this for
This workshop is for artists and creatives seekers at heart (actors, dancers, writers, visual artists, art lovers), health practitioners, educators, and anyone with a curiosity for deep self-discovery, spontaneity and creative play!.
No previous experience is required, only a willingness to be curious about the images that move you.
