Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect in a session?
A grounded, collaborative space where we explore what’s happening in your inner world, build insight, and practice tools that support real change. Sessions blend creative, somatic, and evidence-based approaches tailored to you.
Do you offer virtual or in-person appointments?
Yes. I offer virtual sessions across Canada Monday–Friday, and in-person sessions in Vancouver on Wednesdays and Squamish on Thursdays.
How long are sessions?
Individual sessions are 50–60 minutes. I also offer 1.5 hour sessions as requested.
How often should I book a therapy session?
Most clients benefit from weekly sessions, especially in the beginning or when working through trauma, anxiety, relationship patterns, or significant life stressors. Weekly sessions help build momentum, maintain continuity, and support the nervous system as it learns new patterns.
Some people transition to bi-weekly sessions once they feel more stable, regulated, and confident using the tools we’ve developed together.
For trauma therapy modalities—such as EMDR, somatic work, and cognitive therapies—consistent, predictable contact is especially important for maintaining safety, pacing, and integration.
Ultimately, the frequency is collaborative. We’ll discuss your goals, needs, emotional capacity, and schedule to determine what feels sustainable and clinically appropriate.
What issues do you help with?
Anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, relationship patterns, self-esteem, stress, boundaries, emotional regulation, and life transitions.
Do you take insurance?
Most extended health plans in Canada cover RCC/CCC services. Please check with your provider directly to confirm your benefits.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Cancellations or changes require 24 hours’ notice to avoid the full session fee.
