Creative, Empathic, Mindful, and Trauma Informed Counselling
Supporting Clients To Use Their Innate Creativity, Resources And Wisdom For Healing.
Welcome,
I’m Jade Honce
Registered Clinical Counsellor | Canadian Certified Counsellor | Registered Drama Therapist
For over a decade, I’ve supported women in healing the emotional patterns that keep them feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of their worth. My work centres on helping you move through what feels stuck — so you can feel grounded, confident, and connected again.
Healing the Patterns That Keep Repeating
So many of the struggles we face today have understandable roots in the past. Anxiety, self-doubt, people-pleasing, emotional shutdown, relationship cycles, shame — these patterns didn’t appear randomly. They were learned, often in childhood, at moments when your nervous system adapted in the only ways it knew how.
My work is about helping you understand these deeper roots with compassion, and then supporting you in creating new, healthier patterns that feel aligned with who you’re becoming.
An Integrative Approach That Meets the Whole of You
There is no single therapy that fully captures the complexity of being human. I integrate the most effective elements of psychodynamic, experiential, somatic, cognitive, and behavioural therapies, including:
Somatic Experiencing (SE)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) & Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
Parts-work based on Internal Family Systems (IFS) theory
Attachment Theory
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Creative Arts Therapy & Drama Therapy
This blend allows us to work with both mind and body — processing trauma safely while strengthening emotional regulation, self-awareness, boundaries, and self-worth.
Who I Work With
I specialize in supporting women navigating:
PTSD and complex trauma
Sexual trauma
Childhood trauma and attachment wounds
Anxiety, shame, and chronic self-doubt
Repeating relational patterns (communication, boundaries, disorganized attachment etc.)
Disconnection from self, identity, or intuition
My approach is trauma-informed, relational, compassionate, and deeply collaborative. I meet you exactly where you are and walk alongside you as you reclaim your voice, your boundaries, and your inner steadiness.
If You’re Feeling the Pull, Trust It
Beginning therapy can feel tender — especially when you’ve been carrying things alone for a long time. You deserve a space where you don’t have to perform or hold it all together, where you’re met with warmth, wisdom, and genuine presence.
If something here resonates, I’d be honoured to connect. Reach out for a consultation, and we can explore whether this feels like the right next step for you.
This is a place to begin again — with clarity, compassion, and a little more room to breathe.
