Group Therapy

Subsidized Counselling

A few spaces are available for those who cannot afford the standard fees. If you have health benefits at work, ask about your coverage. Some plans will cover a certain number of private counselling sessions. In addition, I offer counselling through some EAP programs, First Nations Health Authority (FNHA), and Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP).

Virtual Counselling

Video and telephone counselling sessions are available upon request. All virtual counselling services are done through Zoom which is a secure encrypted video conferencing platform. All you need is access to a computer or smart phone that has the Zoom app, a private space to have the session and a stable Wifi connection.

Women's Counselling

My approach is creative, empathic, mindful and trauma informed.

I specialize in working with women affected by trauma and are experiencing symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, and low self-worth. I also work well with women looking to enhance their relationships and who are seeking empowerment and authenticity in their lives.

I am part of a counselling collective at the Squamish Counselling Clinic and see individual clients virtually and in office on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Jade is here to listen.

I believe in a unique and customized counselling experience for each and every client.

  • Authenticity - discovering and honouring your true Self.

"Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a body-oriented approach to healing trauma and other stress disorders. The SE approach releases traumatic shock, which is key to transforming PTSD and the wounds of emotional and early developmental attachment trauma." - Taken from www.traumahealing.org

Jade has completed the Somatic Experiencing (SE) Advanced Level 1 training through the SE Trauma Institute. This means Jade has completed a total of 186 hours of learning involving lecture, discussion, experience as practitioner and client, as well as personal consultation with a certified SE Practitioner (SEP).
